Added the Twitter-like ability to follow people in Xuland. Only available to logged-in users, the “following” tab allows you to view comments by people that aren’t necessarily in the location shown on the map. Sweet!

Users can now attach a link to a comment!

Xuland will parse the link for eligible images and present them to you for thumbnail selection.  Xuland will also parse out the page title and description, if there is one, or you can add your own!

Xuland is LIVE!

Actually, Xuland has been “live” on its main address (http://www.xuland.com) for a couple of weeks now.

Today marked the first day I published the address via my personal developer blog eonflex.com.  The post went from a distant spot on the fourth page of Adobe’s RSS feeds (Most Popular in 24 hours) to the #1 spot so I’m very happy to see there is interest within the Adobe community towards Xuland.

I’m totally open to hearing comments about Xuland: first impressions, suggestions…keep ‘em coming!

Xuland now supports local area events.  Add any event, for any location in the world…easily!  Your new upcoming event will then appear in Xuland’s side-panel, just for that location. Although events are currently not tied to “category”, there’s no reason why they couldn’t be.  If the demand for posted events increases, dividing those into categories would be an excellent idea.  I’ll keep you posted ;)
